The new 2022 Instagram algorithm now puts this above everything else.  

According to Vimeo, these are the 5 biggest ways to make an impact on the algorithm.  Get users to:

  1. Spend a few seconds on the post
  2. Comment
  3. Like
  4. Save
  5. Click over to your profile

So, how do you do that on video?

I was asked recently “how do you speak in soundbites?”  This expert was going to be a guest on a podcast and needed a crash course. It made me consider doing a masterclass JUST on talking in soundbites because this takes practice and time to master but here’s how I responded:

Much of this follows my construct of a soundbite.  Tell me why I should care, put that in headline form and that’s the first thing out of your mouth.  Then give me the meat (these are 1 of the 3 to 5 takeaways you want the listener or viewer to garner from your appearance (they don’t have bandwidth for more than this).  Then end on the chill factor (something that is memorable leaving you with chills down your spine).  I expand A LOT on this in my teachings, but this is a start and is also in my Secrets to Stellar Storytelling freebie!

You need to do the same thing in every single video you are sharing, creating, and cultivating.
