KRISTIN’S OFFICIAL BIO:

Founder of BRAVE Public Relations, Kristin Cowart Pierce offers experience in reputation management, crisis communications, new product launches, partnership marketing and good old fashioned media relations. She founded BRAVE Public Relations in 1999 as a boutique firm designed to give clients big agency experience with small agency attention. Before launching BRAVE PR, Kristin worked in London as a director for Edelman where she led the company’s pan-European campaigns.  Previously, she worked at Golin Atlanta where she serviced clients such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A and Sara Lee Corporation – coordinating its Olympic sponsorship programs.  Kristin is proud to lead an all-female team of go-getters that treat each client’s business as if it were their own.

Motivated by her children’s constant questioning around why she had to leave every morning (when other moms got to stay home) and where she spent her days, the idea behind Mommies Work was born. Part love letter to her children, part tribute to working moms everywhere, the book illustrates how women share their time and energy between career and family.
